In January 2008, Dr. Dan Neundorf walked into my dojo interested in learning karate. Since then I have come to know him as a special kind of student. He is extremely patient, kind and brings an energy to the dojo that helps motivate all students. My own teacher Seikichi Iha, Hanshi 10th Dan. has instilled the values of friendship, cooperation and partnership in all of his students. Dr. Dan is one of the best coaches and instructors I have met - he is able to quickly find and understand students' needs and deliver material to meet the needs of everyone in a class.
